General

The association was founded in 1950. The team plays in the 8,000-seat Mokri Dolac Stadium, ( German: Stadium Nasses Tal ).

The club had various names until the final name NK Posušje. When it was founded in 1950, the association was still called NK Zidar. In 1963 it was renamed NK Boksit, and the club has had its current name since 1990.

The nicknames of the fans of the NK Posušje are Poskoci (the horn vipers ) or Torcida (roughly comparable to the ultra fan blocks in the rest of Europe).

On December 31, 2009, the club stopped playing for financial reasons, and all games in the Prva Liga FBiH were rated 3-0. In the following season, the club entered the Drugu Liga FBiH , from which he was finally relegated in 2011/12 as bottom of the table.
