The Kategoria e Pare 1958 (mutatis mutandis: First League ) was the 21st staging of the Albanian football championship and was the National Football Association Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit aligned. The season began on March 9 and ended on June 29, 1958.

Season course

As in the previous year, the league comprised eight teams. 1957 was Spartaku Tirana relegated from the Kategoria e Pare. For 1958, KS Vllaznia Shkodra rose again after a year of abstinence. In addition, all clubs that had given themselves the name "Puna" (German work) for the 1951 season renamed themselves back to their original names. KS Ylli i Kuq Durrës started under the name Lokomotiva Durrës . The defending champion was FK Partizani Tirana .

The championship was played in a regular season with a round trip. Each team competed twice against each other team. The bottom of the table was relegated directly to the then still second class category e dytë .

A total of 132 goals were scored, which corresponds to an average of 2.4 goals per game. The top scorer with 6 goals was Refik Resmja from Partizani Tirana and Enver Shehu from 17 Nëntori Tirana for the eighth time .

Partizani Tirana was just able to defend the championship title, in the end the runner-up Besa Kavaja was only one point behind. With the sixth championship title Partizani drew level with the other two record champions 17 Nëntori Tirana and Dinamo Tirana . Completely surprising, however, Besa Kavaja , who had to go into relegation last year as penultimate in the table, took second place and just distanced the record champions 17 Nëntori Tirana and Dinamo Tirana . Fifth was Skënderbeu Korça ahead of promoted Vllaznia Shkodra , both of whom, like Flamurtari Vlora, were only able to secure relegation with a small lead over Lokomotiva Durrës in eighth place.
