In the Superiore 2007/08 (also Kampionati Shiqptar ) of the highest football league in Albania , twelve clubs played for the title of Albanian champions. For the 69th time, a football championship was held in Albania, for the tenth time under the name CATEGORY Superiore. The season began on August 25, 2007 and ended on May 17, 2008. For the 18th time Dinamo Tirana won the title. The top scorer was the Albanian Vioresin Sinani from KS Vllaznia Shkodra .

Season course

After completing the championship, which was played in three rounds of eleven games, the new titleholder Dinamo Tirana had scored the most hits (56) and allowed the fewest (14). With the first place one moved into the qualifying round for the Champions League . Runner-up Partizani Tirana was five points behind and reached the UEFA Cup as did cup winner Vllaznia Shkodra , who only finished seventh in the league. The league third KS Besa Kavaja qualified for the UI-Cup . Defending champion and record champion KF Tirana was only sixth and also lost the cup final.

The eleventh and twelfth tables had to relegate directly to the categoria e parë . These two places went to the newcomers KS Besëlidhja Lezha and KF Skënderbeu Korça . While Skënderbeu scored the fewest goals of all teams (26), had to accept the most (80) and only collected eleven points, Besëlidhja Lezha was only one point behind the relegation place ten. Kastrioti Kruja took this, tied with Teuta Durrës . While last year's runner-up Teuta Durrës secured the class in the relegation against Burelli after extra time, Kastrioti Kruja had to admit defeat to KS Lushnja and thus relegated . For the new 2008/09 season, Apolonia Fier and Bylis Ballsh were promoted from the categoria e parë KF .
