The Premjer League 2008 was the 17th season of the highest Kazakh league in men's football . It began on March 8, 2008 and ended on November 5, 2008 with the 26th and final matchday.

mode

16 teams played against each other twice during the season; once at home and once away. So each team played 30 games. The newly promoted FK Megasport Almaty and Energetik-2 Ekibastus replaced the relegated last season FK Taras and FK Ekibastusez .

Oqschetpes Kökschetau took part in the Europa League in ninth place because Megasport Almaty and Shakhtar Qaraghandy did not get a UEFA license and Schetissu Taldyqorghan withdrew from UEFA competition. In addition, FK Almaty merged with FK Megasport Almaty . The resulting locomotive Astana was also not given a license for European Cup games.

FK Qairat Almaty and Astana were excluded after the season for financial reasons. Vostok Öskemen was placed at the bottom of the table after a match was manipulated on the 22nd matchday. The remaining games of Vostok were rated 0: 3.
