After only one mission in the 2009/10 season , the Croatian was dismissed from the club for sporting but also disciplinary reasons.
In winter 2009/10 he returned to his home club Croatia Sesvete. After this season he moves back to Albania, this time to city rivals KF Tirana , where he stayed for one season. He scored 14 goals and was second on the top scorer list. Tirana was only fifth, and Pejić did not stay with the club. From summer 2011 he stormed for half a year at the Jordanian club al-Faisaly . At the beginning of 2012 he was back in Albania, where he played for KS Flamurtari Vlora this time and finished the championship in fourth place. As a result, he moved for the 2012/13 championship to the Albanian champion KF Skënderbeu Korça , with whom he was able to become champion again in 2013/14 . In addition, Pejic was the top scorer in the Superiore category with 20 goals. In the 2014/15 he appeared for FK Kukësi and even scored 31 goals, making him top scorer again. While his ex-club Korça won the championship again, he finished the season with Kukësi in second place in the table.
In the 2015/16 season he played for the Iranian club Esteghlal Tehran , with whom he played for the championship in the Persian Gulf Pro League 2015/16 . In the final standings, the team took third place in the table and was subsequently allowed to compete in the play-offs of the AFC Champions League 2017 . Over the entire season Pejić was used in 13 league games and scored three goals; Furthermore, he played three games in the Hazfi Cup 2015/16 and contributed two goals. He scored 28 goals in 35 championship games and also made five assists. For the first time in the club's history, FK Kukësi won the Albanian football championship this season. He also played two games with the team in qualifying for the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League . In the second qualifying round he met with FK Kukësi on Sheriff Tiraspol from the Republic of Moldova and was defeated with the team due to the away goals rule in this round. Here he was used in both games and was involved in the 2-1 victory of his team in the second leg in both goals, where he scored one himself and made the template for the other.
Then Pejić returned to his home country, where he joined the first division club NK Slaven Belupo Koprivnica trained by Tomislav Ivković . Under Ivković, as well as his successor, the Austrian Peter Pacult , Pejić acted as a regular player and so far (as of February 26, 2018) he has scored two goals and as many assists in 15 league appearances.
