Peter Olayinka Oladeji (born November 18, 1995 in Ibadan ) is a Nigerian football player on the position of the striker . He is currently under contract with Slavia Prague .
Career
society
Peter Olayinka started playing football as a youth at Club 36 Lion FC , from Lagos . In 2012 he moved to the club KS Bylis Ballsh in the first Albanian league . In two seasons he made a total of 14 league appearances in the men's team. In the meantime, it was awarded to Yenicami Ağdelen in Northern Cyprus for a year . There he scored eight goals in 21 league games.
After the loan ended, Olayinka moved to league rivals KF Skënderbeu Korça . With the team, he became Albanian champions twice in a row in 2015 and 2016 . In 33 league games he scored a total of 16 goals and was also successful as a goalscorer in the Albanian league cup. After two years in Korça , he moved to the KAA Gent in the first Belgian league . There he spent a total of two years, in each of which he was awarded for one year, first to FK Dukla Prague in the Czech Republic, and then to league competitor SV Zulte Waregem . So he never played for Gent in the league. With Prague he finished third in the Czech first division at the end of the 2016/17 season . In 29 league games he scored six goals. He finished ninth with SV Zulte Waregem at the end of the 2017/18 season .
After this loan ended, the Czech first division club Slavia Prague signed the striker for a fee of € 3.2 million. His first season with Prague ended with the Czech championship title. With Slavia, Olayinka appeared on the international stage for the first time since 2016 after leaving KF Skënderbeu in the Europa League . With the championship title, he will take part in the Champions League with Prague in the 2019/20 season. In the opening match of Group F, he scored his first Champions League goal in a 1-1 draw against Inter Milan .
National team
Olayinka did not go through any of the youth teams in his homeland. Due to his long stay in Albania, there are repeated efforts to call him up to the Albanian national team, which Olayinka would be willing to do if he received the Albanian passport.
