The Divizia Națională 2015/16 was the 25th season of the Moldovan top division in men's football . It began on July 25, 2015. Since three teams from the previous season no longer participated and there were only two promoted teams, the season started with only 10 teams.

    Championship game

    According to article 10.5 of the regulation of the Moldovan football championship, an additional game to determine the champions should be played in the event of a tie. The match between Sheriff Tiraspol and FC Dacia Chișinău was played on May 29, 2016 in Chișinău ( Stadionul Zimbru ).
