Liam Boyce (born April 8, 1991 in Belfast ) is a Northern Irish football player . He can be used as a center forward in the storm .

career

Boyce began his career at Newmill FC and moved from there to Immaculata FC. There he was discovered by scouts of the IFA premiership club Cliftonville FC . Here he first played in the reserve team of the Cliftonville Olympics , before he was included in the regular team of Cliftonville FC in October 2008. For Cliftonville, Boyce ran in summer 2010 in qualifying for the Europa League against Cibalia Vinkovci and CSKA Sofia . On September 1, 2010, he signed a two-year contract with the U-23 from Werder Bremen . He made his debut on September 25, 2010 against Wacker Burghausen in the 3rd soccer league.

Boyce made his debut for the Northern Irish national team on February 9, 2011 in Dublin on the occasion of the Nations Cup match against Scotland, in which he came on for Niall McGinn in the 72nd minute . On October 12, 2011 Werder Bremen announced that the contract with Boyce, which ran until June 2012, had been terminated by mutual agreement.

On January 9, 2012 Boyce finally returned to Northern Ireland after test training at English and Scottish clubs and signed a contract with Cliftonville FC until the end of the 2013/14 season.
