Zdeněk Zlámal (born November 5, 1985 in Přerov ) is a Czech football player on the goalkeeper position .
Club career
Zlámal started playing football at Spartak Hulín. The goalkeeper made the leap into the first team at the age of 16 and made his debut on July 14, 2002 in the cup game at FC Morkovice. In the 82nd minute of the game he was left lying after a collision with an opponent and was taken to hospital with a concussion . For the 2004/05 season, Zlámal moved to the then second division club SK Hanácká Slavia Kroměříž , where he immediately became a regular goalkeeper.
In a year and a half he played 36 second division games before being signed by Sparta Prague in January 2006 . At number one in goal, Jaromír Blažek , the young talent could not get past and only made four second division games with the B team.
For the 2006/07 season, Zlámal was loaned to Tescoma Zlín . The goalkeeper played there regularly. After the departure of Jaromír Blažek to 1. FC Nürnberg , Zlámal was brought back from Sparta Prague in the summer of 2007, but was sold to Slovan Liberec before the start of the championship in early August .
At the end of August 2009, Zlámal moved to the Italian first division club Udinese Calcio and was immediately awarded to the Spanish second division club FC Cádiz . In September 2010, the goalkeeper moved to Slavia Prague on loan .
In the summer of 2016, Zlámal left Bohemian and joined the Turkish first division club Alanyaspor . After a season he then moved to FC Fastav Zlín . In May 2018 he moved to the Scottish first division club Heart of Midlothian . In Edinburgh, Zlámal will replace Jon McLaughlin and Jack Hamilton .
National team
Zdeněk Zlámal played twelve games for the Czech U21 national team between 2006 and 2007 . In May 2009 the goalkeeper made his debut in the senior team .
