Odsonne Édouard (born January 16, 1998 in Kourou , French Guiana ) is a French football player who is under contract with Celtic Glasgow .

Career

Edouard, who has successfully passed through the Paris Saint-Germains youth department since 2011 , made his debut in the professional squad in 2016. On August 8, 2016, he moved to Toulouse FC on loan until the end of the 2016/17 season . He made his Ligue 1 debut on August 14, 2016 against Olympique Marseille .

On August 31, 2017, Edouard moved to the Scottish Premiership at Celtic Glasgow on loan until the end of the 2017/18 season . On his debut for Celtic on September 8, 2017, he scored the first goal against Hamilton Academical . He scored a hat trick in his fifth league game against Motherwell FC on December 2, 2017 . In total, he contributed nine hits in 22 league games to win the Scottish Championship . He was also a cup winner and league cup winner . For the 2018/19 season , Celtic Glasgow acquired the transfer rights to him for the then-club-internal record transfer fee and provided him with a contract that ran until June 30, 2022.

He also plays for the French U-19 national team .
