Scott Bain (born November 22, 1991 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish football goalkeeper who is under contract with Celtic Glasgow .
Career
society
Scott Bain began his career in the youth of Aberdeen FC . Even before he made his professional debut for the Dons , he was awarded to the Scottish fourth division Elgin City in the 2010/11 season . He made his debut for the club on Matchday 3 against East Stirlingshire FC at the age of 18. By the end of the season, the young goalkeeper was used in ten other league games. After his return from Elgin , the contract with his youth club for which he had not played a competitive game was dissolved. Bain then signed a contract with Alloa Athletic . With the team he succeeded in direct promotion from fourth to third division. Under coach Paul Hartley , Bain completed 30 out of 36 possible games. In the following third division season 2012/13 , the team was runner-up behind Queen of the South . With victories over Brechin City and Dunfermline Athletic in the promotion relegation, the direct march through to the second division succeeded. Bain played a big part as the goalkeeper. After playing 100 league games for the Hornets in three seasons , he moved at the end of the 2013/14 season to Dundee FC, together with coach Paul Hartley . In January 2018 it was first awarded to Hibernian Edinburgh . The loan deal was terminated after Craig Gordon goalkeeper of Celtic Glasgow injured himself. Bain was then awarded to Glasgow until the end of the 2017/18 season. He made his debut for Celtic on March 11, 2018 in the Old Firm derby against Glasgow Rangers , which was won 3-2 at Ibrox Stadium . With Celtic he won the Scottish Championship directly . On May 10, 2018, Bain signed a four-year contract with Celtic.
