Ismaila Wafougossani Soro (born May 7, 1998 in Yakassé-Mé ) is an Ivorian football player who is under contract with Celtic Glasgow .

Career

Ismaila Soro moved to Moldova in 2016 to the local first division club Saxan Ceadîr-Lunga . In the 2016/17 season he played 22 league games for the club in defensive midfield. From July 2017 he played in Belarus for FK Homel . This had previously been promoted back to the Wyschejschaja Liha . In the 2017 season he made 15 appearances and one goal against FK Minsk .

In January 2018, he moved to Israel to Bne Jehuda Tel Aviv . In the Ligat ha'Al he was a regular for the club and won the Israel State Cup in the final against Maccabi Netanja in 2019 . After two years in Israel, the Scottish club Celtic Glasgow signed him for a transfer fee of the equivalent of € 2.3 million and provided him with a contract until 2024.
