Conor Hazard (born March 5, 1998 in Downpatrick ) is a Northern Irish football goalkeeper who is under contract with Celtic Glasgow .

Career

Conor Hazard began his career in the youth of Cliftonville FC in Northern Ireland. He was an outfield player until he was fourteen. In July 2014 Hazard, now playing as a goalkeeper, moved to the youth academy of Celtic Glasgow . For Celtic he played from the U-17 to U-20 and was in action in the UEFA Youth League . In the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons he was behind Craig Gordon , Dorus de Vries , Scott Bain and Logan Bailly in the goalkeeper hierarchy. In September 2017, he extended his contract in Glasgow for four years. From January to June 2018 it was awarded to the Scottish second division club FC Falkirk . For this he completed eleven games in the championship . A loan to Partick Thistle and FC Dundee followed in January 2019 .

National team

Conor Hazard played for the Northern Ireland junior teams in the U-16 , U-17 and U-19 from 2013 to 2016 . On June 3, 2018 Hazard made his international debut for the Northern Irish national football team against Costa Rica at the Estadio Nacional when he came on for Trevor Carson .
