David Turnbull (born July 10, 1999 in Wishaw ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with Celtic Glasgow .

Career

David Turnbull was in 1999 in Wishaw in the region North Lanarkshire born. After four years with the Newmains Hammers, he played from the age of nine at Motherwell FC , a football club 6 km west of Wishaw. With the club's U-20 team, he won the Scottish Youth Cup in 2016 . He made his professional debut on February 10, 2018 when he came on as a substitute for Carl McHugh in stoppage time in the Scottish Cup round of 16 against FC Dundee . In May he came to two missions in the Scottish Premiership .

In August 2020, he moved to Celtic Glasgow for a transfer fee of three million pounds .

National team

David Turnbull played in the Scottish U16 against Wales in 2014 . He has been active in the U19s since 2017 . He made his debut against France . In his third international match in this age group, he scored the first goal in the national jersey against Austria .
