The FK Xəzər Lənkəran (also FK Xäzär Länkärän, internationally also FK Khazar Lenkoran ) is an Azerbaijani football club from Lənkəran . The club plays in Azerbaijan's second division, the Birinci Divizionu, and was the country's champion in 2007. The club colors are green and white.

history

The association was founded in 1975. The club achieved the greatest success in 2007, when the Azerbaijani double (champions and cup winners) could be celebrated. In the 2007 cup final, the team was able to prevail against MKT Araz İmişli 1-0 and was the same year with two points ahead of Neftçi Baku PFK champions of Premyer Liqası . Internationally, the club played several times in qualifying for the Champions League and the UEFA Cup . Due to various sponsors (mainly oil companies ) the club is considered a croissant in Azerbaijani football.

The home of the club is the Lənkəran city stadium with a capacity of 15,000 seats.
