The Mil-Muğan FK is a football club from Imisli in Azerbaijan . The club currently plays in the second-rate Birinci Divizionu . The home games will be played in the Heydar Aliyev Stadium , which was opened in March 2006 and has a capacity of 8,500 spectators. The club colors are green and white.

history

The club founded in 2004 by MKT Istehsalat-Kommersiya, a cotton processing company, plays in the Premyer Liqası , the top division of Azerbaijan. As MKT Araz İmişli you took part in the 2006 UEFA Intertoto Cup . After a 1-0 win at home, the second leg in Moldova was lost 2-0 to FC Tiraspol .

In the 2006/07 season they lost 1-0 in the cup final against FK Xəzər Lənk mitran . Since the cup winners also won the championship that year, they were allowed to participate in the UEFA Europa League . There they lost in the first round after a goalless home game against Dyskobolia Grodzisk 0-1 and were eliminated.

After the club was re-established in 2013, it is called FK Mil-Muğan .
