Rasim Kara (born June 10, 1950 in Eskişehir ) is a former Turkish football goalkeeper and has been a football coach since 1996 .

Player career

Rasim Kara began his career as a goalkeeper at Eskişehir Işıkspor before moving to Uşakspor and later to the first division side Bursaspor . In the years 1975 to 1984 he achieved some successes as an active footballer at Beşiktaş Istanbul .

Coaching career

After finishing his playing career, he remained loyal to football and became assistant coach of the Turkish national team . He was in charge of the Turkish national team at the 1996 European Football Championship and was obliged to coach Beşiktaş Istanbul the following season. Since 2008 he has been the coach of the Azerbaijani club FK Xəzər Lənkəran .
