Mindaugas Kalonas (born February 28, 1984 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian football player . He will play for Ravan Baku in Azerbaijan from the second half of the 2012/2013 season .
Career
Kalonas began his career at VMFD Žalgiris Vilnius , from where he moved to FK Dynamo Moscow in Russia in 2002 . He was not used in Moscow , as well as in his subsequent stations at Saturn Ramenskoje , Sporting Braga in Portugal and Rubin Kazan . In January 2005 he then moved to Liepājas Metalurgs in Latvia . The championship title was won there in his first season. In 2006 the club was runner-up and cup winner. In August 2007 he moved to FK Kuban Krasnodar , where he came to a mission. He then returned to Latvia in January 2008 and played for FK Riga until July 2008 .
In autumn 2008 he was under contract with the Bohemians Dublin in Ireland .
Since January 2009 he has been playing for Metalurh Zaporizhia in the Ukraine . 2008/09 the seventh final place in the championship was reached. In the following season, the club was ninth. In two and a half years Mindaugas Kalonas played 31 league games and scored one goal.
At the end of July 2012 he signed a one-year contract with the Polish second division club OKS Stomil Olsztyn . In the first half of the 2012/2013 season he was able to score five goals in 17 second division games for Stomil. There was also a game in the Polish Cup in which he scored a goal. For the second half of the 2012/2013 season Mindaugas Kalonas moved to Azerbaijan to Ravan Baku .
For Lithuania, he has played 35 games and scored two goals (against Romania and Serbia ). He made his debut in 2006.
