Steven Joseph-Monrose (born July 20, 1990 in Bondy ) is a French football player.
Career
society
Joseph-Monrose began his career with hometown club AS Bondy before moving to CRAF Liévin in 2000 . After two years, the youth player moved on to RC Lens . On July 20, 2008, he signed his first professional contract with RC Lens. The contract ran until 2013. He made his professional debut on October 13, 2008 in a 1-0 win against EA Guingamp . He was substituted on 20 minutes before the end. In the same game, his friend William Rémy made his professional debut. The two have already played together in the youth teams. In January 2010 he was awarded in the Ligue 2 playing club LB Châteauroux . After eight games and one goal scored, he returned to Lens in July.
On July 2, 2011, he moved to the Belgian club KV Kortrijk , where he signed a three-year contract. After Joseph-Monrose was able to convince at Kortrijk in the 2011/12 season, he moved to league rivals KRC Genk . This was followed by the Stade Brest station before he switched to the Azerbaijani club FK Qəbələ in the summer of 2017 . In 2019 he then joined league rivals Neftçi Baku .
National team
Joseph-Monrose played for various French national U-teams. On May 25, 2009 he was nominated by the U-20 coach for the 2009 Mediterranean Games .
