William Rémy (born April 4, 1991 in Courbevoie ) is a French football player who has been under contract with Legia Warsaw since January 2018 .

Career

society

Rémy began his career in 2002. Even then, he was in the youth teams of RC Lens . He made his professional debut on October 13, 2008 in a 1-0 win over EA Guingamp . He was substituted on eight minutes before the end. In the same game, his friend Steven Joseph-Monrose made his professional debut. The two have already played together in the youth teams.

In 2010 he was loaned to the third division US Créteil . After four league appearances, he returned to Lens, where his contract was not extended in the summer of 2012. Instead, he moved to FCO Dijon , where he signed a three-year contract. He then played for two and a half years at HSC Montpellier and moved to the Polish champions Legia Warsaw in the Ekstraklasa in January 2018 .

National team

He was nominated for the French U-17 national team in 2007. He and his team finished the U-17 European Football Championship in 2008 in second place. They lost the final against Spain 4-0. In the group stage, Rémy scored a great volley goal from a corner. The game ended with a 3: 3. He then played eleven games for the French U-18s and one game for the U-19 national team.
