history

Påskbergsvallen was opened on July 2, 1925 by Gustav V , King of Sweden . He was present because the longest wave transmitter Grimeton was inaugurated in Grimeton , Varberg parish that same day . It has a covered main and opposite stands. The main grandstand, which is equipped with seat shells, extends over only part of the main straight, next to it and in the uncovered curves there is neither a grandstand nor a raised slope. An athletics facility runs around the natural grass rectangle used as a play area . Next to the stadium there are three other playing fields and two small fields, and the multi-purpose arena Varberg is located north of Påskbergsvallen. The plant is located southeast of the city center of Varberg in the east of the Mariedal district .

In 2012, the stadium was adapted to the requirements of the Superettan , including the floodlights .
