The Olympia is a football stadium in the Olympia district of the southern Swedish city of Helsingborg , Skåne County . It was opened in 1898 and has been rebuilt several times over the years. The Olympia is the home stadium of Helsingborgs largest football club, Helsingborgs IF . In 1958, two World Cup games were played in the Olympics . In addition, seven games of the 1995 Women's World Cup took place here.
A statue was erected in front of the stadium in honor of the former Helsingborgs IF goalkeeper and the Swedish national team Kalle Svensson .
