The Fotbollsallsvenskan 1954/55 was the 31st season of the highest Swedish football league . The season began on August 1, 1954 and ended on June 10, 1955.
Djurgårdens IF won the Von Rosens Cup as Swedish champions for the fifth time in the club's history 35 years after their last championship title and were the first team to represent Sweden in the European Cup . Last year's champion GAIS surprisingly rose and was accompanied by newcomers Sandvikens AIK and Kalmar FF in the second division .
