Sandvikens AIK
Sandvikens AIK (SAIK: Sandvikens Allmänna Idrottsklubb) is a Swedish sports club from the town of Sandviken . The club is mainly known for its bandy teams .
The club was founded on March 16, 1901 and, in addition to the section for bandy, also has sections for football (already played in the Allsvenskan ) and bowling .

Probably the best-known and most successful department of the association has been part of the association since 1901. The home ground is the Jernvallen stadium . In its long history, the men's team was able to play ten finals for the Swedish championship and was champion six times, the women's team reached five finals and won the championship once.

Sandvikens AIK football
In its club history, Sandvikens AIK could only qualify once for the top division in football, the Allsvenskan . In the first and so far last season in the Allsvenskan, 1954/55 , they immediately relegated. Today (2006 season) the club (men's team) plays in Division 4 Gestrikland (6th division).
