European Cup (Bandy)

The European Bandy Cup is an annual tournament of club teams (men) in the bandy sport . The first edition took place in 1974. The reigning national champions are entitled to participate.

During its existence, the European Cup was dominated by teams from Russia (until 1991 as representatives of the USSR ) and Sweden , who usually won the title. The only exception was the tournament victory of the Kazakh team Dinamo Alma-Ata in 1978.
