The 1974 Fotbollsallsvenskan was the 50th season of the top Swedish football league . Between April 13 and October 27, 1974, the Swedish football champions were played in it.
After Åtvidabergs FF won the Swedish championship title two years in a row , Malmö FF won the Von Rosens Cup for the tenth time in the club's history . With a 2-0 final win over Östers IF in the Svenska Cup , the team around players like Bo Larsson , Roland Andersson and Staffan Tapper also won the double. The two relegation places were occupied by IK Sirius and the newcomer Brynäs IF .
