The Fotbollsallsvenskan 1949/50 was the 26th season of the highest Swedish football league . The season began on July 29, 1949 and ended on June 4, 1950.
Last year's champion Malmö FF was able to defend the title. The team won the first 18 games of the season and stayed the entire season without defeat with only two draws. IFK Göteborg and IS Halmia had to relegate to the second division .
