The Fotbollsallsvenskan 1942/43 was the 19th season of the highest Swedish football league . The season began on July 26, 1942 and ended on June 6, 1943.

IFK Norrköping won the championship title for the first time in the club's history and also the double with the cup win . Gårda BK only got nine points and has said goodbye to the first division to this day. The second relegated was the promoted IFK Eskilstuna with only seven points . It took the club until 1957 to play first class again.
