Dick Lidman (born January 24, 1967 in Skellefteå ) is a former Swedish football player . The striker spent most of his career at AIK Stockholm , and in 1995 he played twice for the Swedish national team .

Club career

Lidman began playing football in his hometown at Skellefteå AIK, where he made his third division debut at the age of 17. In 1989 the striker was signed by GIF Sundsvall , after two years he moved to AIK Stockholm and became Swedish champions with the team in 1992. In the 1994/95 season AIK met in the first round of the UEFA Cup on Slavia Prague , then Lidman moved in 1995 to the Czech capital, while Martin Hyský went in exchange for AIK. With Slavia Lidman was Czech champions in the 1995/96 season, but only played three times, where he scored on his debut, but it remained Lidmann's only goal for Slavia. In 1996 the attacker went back to Solna , after the 1997 season he ended his career. After his active career, Lidman worked as Vice Managing Director at AIK until 2002.

National team

Lidman played two games for the Swedish national team in 1995 . On June 4, 1995, he made his debut in Birmingham in the game against Brazil , which was lost 1-0. Four days later Lidman played against England in Leeds , the game ended in a 3-3 draw.
