Hans Eklund (born April 16, 1969 ) is a former Swedish football player who now works as a coach.

career

Eklund started his career at Mönsterås GIF . In 1987 he went to Östers IF . In 1992 he was the Allsvenskan top scorer with 16 goals this season . He stayed with the club until 1997 and then moved to Servette Geneva . He did not stay here for long and moved on to Dalian Wanda in China. After a detour to Viborg FF , who won the Danish Cup in 2000 with his goal in the final against Aalborg BK , he returned to Sweden and played for Helsingborgs IF until 2003 .

After the end of his active career, Eklund was initially a junior coach at Helsingborgs IF. He later took on the post of assistant coach .

Eklund made seven appearances for Sweden .
