Christer Mattiasson

Christer Mattiasson (born July 29, 1971 in Borås ) is a former Swedish football player .

career

Mattiasson played in his youth with Mariedals IK and Byttorps IF . In 1992 the striker made his debut for IF Elfsborg in Division 1 . In 1997 he managed to return to the Allsvenskan with the club , where he was top scorer with 14 goals this season. In 1999 he joined AIK Solna , with whom he won the Svenska Cup . After two seasons he moved to the Norwegian Tippeligaen to Lillestrøm SK , but soon returned to Sweden to Djurgårdens IF . With the club he became Swedish champion in 2002. During the 2003 season he left the club and went to IF Brommapojkarna in the Superettan . In 2005 he ended his active career there.
