Thomas Ahlström

Thomas Ahlström (born July 17, 1952 ) is a former Swedish football player .

career

Ahlström played in the first team of IF Elfsborg from 1971 . In 1979 the offensive player moved to Olympiacos in Greece. In 1982 he returned to Sweden to his home club and one year later he became the Allsvenskan top scorer . He ended his career at IF Elfsborg in 1984.

Ahlström made his debut on November 11, 1973 in the 2-1 success in qualifying for the 1974 World Cup over the national team of Malta as a Swedish international . With the country selection, he took part in the tournament. Until 1982 he ran for the national team, but was never able to earn a regular place in the team. He played a total of eleven international matches and scored two goals.
