Mohamed Buya Turay (born January 10, 1995 in Freetown ) is a Sierra Leonean football player . The striker and four-time senior international is under contract with the Chinese club Hebei China Fortune .

Career

societies

Buya Turay moved to the Swedish second division AFC Eskilstuna in August 2015 . In the 2016 season he contributed ten goals to the runner-up and the associated promotion to the Allsvenskan . After a year in the highest Swedish league, in which he scored eight goals, Buya Turay moved to league rivals Dalkurd FF . After the 2018 season , he went to Belgium in August 2018 and joined VV St. Truiden . By January 2019, he made seven competitive appearances with one goal before he was loaned back to Sweden, to Stockholm- based Djurgårdens IF . With the team he won the Swedish championship in the 2019 season and was top scorer with 15 goals . At the beginning of December 2019, Buya Turay returned to St. Truiden, but did not play a competitive game until Division 1A's season ended prematurely due to the COVID-19 pandemic .

In mid-July 2020, Buya Turay moved to the Chinese club Hebei China Fortune .
