career

Jacobsson first played for Gårda BK before moving to GAIS Göteborg in 1944 . For GAIS he played in the Allsvenskan until 1959 . In 197 games for the club, he scored 145 goals, not least because of his headball strength. In 1954 he was with the club of Swedish champions.

Jacobsson's brother Frank "Sanny" Jacobsson also played for GAIS in the Allsvenskan.
