Imad Khalili (born April 3, 1987 in Dubai ) is a Swedish football player . The offensive player, who previously played for IFK Norrköping and Helsingborgs IF in Allsvenskan , won the Swedish championship's top scorer title in 2013 .

Career

Khalili started playing football at the age of five, his first club being Högaborgs BK . As a 17-year-old young talent, he joined the Swedish first division club Helsingborgs IF in early 2005 . In his first year and a half at the club, he barely got a chance on the competition team, so shortly before the end of the summer transfer period in August 2006, the club loaned him to the Danish club Randers FC until the end of the year , where he immediately after his signature in the cup match against lower class club Fjordager IF and set up several goals from Baye Djiby case . In the Danish Super League , however, he only remained a supplementary player, only two league appearances were to book for him until the turn of the year.

After his return to Helsingborgs IF the club loaned him out again, this time Khalili went to the second-class Superettan at Bunkeflo IF . There he convinced with six goals in 18 games. After the end of the 2007 season , which the promoted team had finished as a surprise team in fifth place in the table, those responsible tried to commit the offensive player. However, he decided against a permanent move to the second division and joined the first division promoted IFK Norrköping . At the end of his first season, which had started with a call to the Swedish U-21 in March 2007 due to his good performance last year, with his new club, however, was relegation to the Superettan as bottom of the table. Again and again slowed down by minor injuries, he fluctuated between bench and starting lineup, but the club decided in the summer of 2010 to extend their contract until the end of 2013. At the beginning of the 2013 season, Khalili shone as a regular goalscorer for IFK Norrköping in the championship, which aroused the desires of other teams in view of his contract, which expired at the end of the season. At the beginning of July of that year he finally announced his move to the ex-club Helsingborgs IF at the turn of the year. In mid-August, however, the club change took place with immediate effect. It is true that he also showed his scoring danger at his new club, which was in the championship race, and added eight goals to his seven goals for his ex-club in ten appearances by the end of the year. While he was crowned top scorer of the championship with a total of 15 goals in front of the 14-time successful Tobias Hysén from IFK Göteborg and Kennedy Igboananike from AIK , the club slipped to fifth place in the table, especially due to defeats against their direct competitors also the European Cup qualification.

In January 2014 Khalili left Sweden and joined the multiple Saudi Arabian national champion al-Shabab on loan , whom he is supposed to support in the Saudi Professional League in the fight for a place in the AFC Champions League . After the loan deal expired, he returned to Sweden in early summer, but was immediately given back: In mid-June he left Sweden again and joined the Chinese club Shanghai Dongya .
