Kennet Andersson (born October 6, 1967 in Eskilstuna ) is a former Swedish football player .

Andersson played in the position of a striker and was best known for his header strength.

Club career

Andersson started his career at Eskilstuna City FK in 1985 . In 1988 he moved to IFK Göteborg , where he played for three years before moving to Belgium for KV Mechelen for one season . For a year he went back to Sweden to IFK Norrköping . In 1993 he moved to France . His first stop was at Lille OSC in 1993/94 , and in 1994/95 he played for SM Caen . In 1995 he moved to AS Bari in Italy, after only one season he went on to FC Bologna . After three years he moved to Lazio Rome , but went back to Bologna after three months. 2000 to 2002 he ran on at the end of his career for the Turkish team of Fenerbahçe Istanbul .
