Sven Jacobsson

Sven Jacobsson (born April 17, 1914 - July 9, 1983 ) was a Swedish national football player .

career

Jacobsson played for GAIS Göteborg in Fotbollsallsvenskan and Division II between 1934 and 1951 . He holds the club record for the longest time a player spent at GAIS. In 280 league games, including 231 first division games, he scored 80 goals, 40 of them in the first division.

Jacobsson was also a seven-time Swedish international . He was part of the national team at the 1938 World Cup and was used in the quarter and semi-finals.
