Yngve Lindegren

Yngve Reimar Lindegren (born April 26, 1912 - April 9, 1990 ) was a Swedish football player . The striker played in the 1930s for the Gothenburg club Örgryte IS in the Allsvenskan , in which he won the title of top scorer in 1939.

Career

In the season 1933/34 Lindegren appeared for the first time as a goalscorer for the club in the highest Swedish league. With the record champions at the time - but the titles all resulted from the time before the introduction of the Allsvenskan as the top division - he occupied places in the middle of the table. In the season 1938/39 he shone as a multiple goalscorer, where he met once three times and five times twice in a game. With a total of 16 goals this season he shared the season with Ove Andersson of Malmo FF and for AIK accruing Erik Persson the title of top scorer in the Allsvenskan. In the following season he only scored five goals this season. At the same time, the club did not succeed, as penultimate he rose together with Hammarby IF in the second division. No information is currently available about the further development.
