Lasse Vibe (born February 22, 1987 in Tranbjerg ) is a Danish football player . The striker has made his previous career in his home country and in Sweden.

Career

Vibe started playing football at AIA-Tranbjerg , which he left for Aarhus GF's youth department . There he made his debut as a substitute in June 2007 in the second class 1st division in higher class football. After the club rose to the super league, he came to no further use. Therefore, he moved to the third division FC Fyn at the turn of the year 2008/09 . Here he was quickly a regular player and led the team with seven goals in 15 season games by the end of the season to promotion to the second division. Here, too, he was one of the top performers, at the beginning of 2010 he agreed with the league competitor FC Vestsjælland, trained by Michael Schjønberg , on a change for the summer of the year.

At his new club, Vibe also shines as a regular goalscorer, scoring twelve goals this season in his first season. After another six months in the second division, the first division side Sønderjysk Elitesport signed him . In March 2012, he made his debut in the 1-0 defeat by Brøndby IF in the Superliga, and by the end of the season he was six times successful scorer in 14 games this season. As a result, national coach Morten Olsen appointed him to the Danish national team in August of that year , but ultimately he was not used. As the club's best internal goalscorer, he led the club to eighth place in the table in the subsequent season, and he was also among the top ten goalscorers of the championship.

In summer 2013 Vibe moved abroad and joined the reigning Swedish cup winner IFK Göteborg . Here he could not build on his previous goal threat in his first half series and contributed to reaching third place in the table with only two goals this season. He was all the more dangerous in the 2014 season : With 23 goals this season, he clearly outstripped the 17-time successful competitors David Accam and Ricardo Santos in the scorers list of the Swedish championship and won the title of Allsvenskan top scorer. At the end of the season, the team finished second behind champions Malmö FF , and in September of that year - almost two years after his first appointment - he made his debut in the Danish national team under Morten Olsen in a 2-1 defeat against Turkey .
