career
Sahlin played for Hammarby IF in the Allsvenskan . From there he was loaned to Birmingham City , where he came to use in the 1995/96 season. In 1996 he joined Örebro SK . In 1997 he was together with Mats Lilienberg and Christer Mattiasson with 14 goals top scorer in the Swedish first division. In 1998 he moved to the Danish first division club Aalborg BK , but returned to Sweden after a season and signed with the lower class club Nynäshamns IF .
Sahlin played three caps for the Swedish national team .
