The Viborg Fodsports Forening (VFF) ( German foot sports association of Viborg ) is a Danish football club in Viborg .
Sporting successes
championship
The club was a founding member of the top division in 1927 and had to wait until 1981 for a new season in the top Danish division (1st division, Superligaen since 1991 ). Up until 1997, in various seasons after promotion, mostly immediate relegation. From 1998 on, VFF was in the top division for ten years. Since relegation to the second-class 1st division in 2008, the club has been commuting between the first two leagues: in 2013 and 2015 they celebrated promotion, in the 2013/14 season Viborg was relegated.
Cup
VFF became Danish Cup winners in 2000 with a 1-0 win against Aalborg BK .
