The Kolding IF is a Danish sports club .

history

In 1998 the handball department of Kolding IF became self-employed and has been called Kolding IF Håndbold Elite A / S ever since. The first soccer team merged with Kolding BK to form Kolding FC in 2002 . In the lower Danish leagues, the club continues to play as Kolding IF. After terminating the merger with Vejle BK, the club played in the third-class canal sports division. In 2014 he was promoted to the 2nd division . With a third place in 2017, the promotion to the 1st division was just missed.
