The Lennart Johansson Cup is a challenge cup in Swedish football . It is named after longtime UEFA President Lennart Johansson .

The trophy designed by the silversmith Ingelar Eklund has been given to the Swedish master since 2001 . It replaced the Von Rosens Cup , which was awarded until 2000 , after it was discovered that the namesake Clarence von Rosen , first chairman of the Swedish Football Association, was active for National Socialism . The design of the trophy is inspired by the trophy that the Swedish national team received after winning the gold medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics .

Since 2005, the Swedish champions in women's football have also received a challenge cup, the Crown Princess Victorias Cup .

Vandalism in the trophy

After persistent rumors circulated that Eklund had engraved the words "Bajen forever" - Bajen is the nickname of the Stockholm club Hammarby IF , whose supporter Eklund, who died in 2010 - was - Svenska Fotbollförbundet investigated after the 2010 season the champions cup.
