Filip Starzyński (born May 27, 1991 in Szczecin ) is a Polish football player .
Career
society
Starzyński started his career at Wicher Przelewice . He then played for Salos Szczecin , where he attracted attention and moved to the youth of Ruch Chorzów . In summer 2011 he was accepted into the professional squad and has since established himself as a regular. In 5 years he completed 101 league games in the Ekstraklasa for Ruch and scored 21 goals. For the 2015/16 season Filip Starzyński is moving to Belgium for KSC Lokeren . In January 2016 he moved back to Poland on loan to Zagłębie Lubin . For the 2016/17 season he was signed by Zagłębie for four years.
National team
Starzyński played two games for the Polish U-21s . In September 2014 he was appointed to an international match for the senior national team for the first time . He made his debut in the 7-0 victory over Gibraltar in the qualifying game for the Euro 2016 in France , when he came on for Kamil Grosicki in the 78th minute . In this game he prepared the goal for 7-0 by Robert Lewandowski in the 92nd minute.
On March 26, 2016, he was tested again in the run-up to the European Championship and scored his first national team goal in a 5-0 win over Finland. Then he was accepted into the squad of Poland . His only appearance at the tournament was in the third game against Ukraine, when he came on as a 1-0 lead in the 90th minute.
