The second division 2004/05 was the 57th season of the second highest Polish football division of men. It started on July 30, 2004 and ended on June 11, 2005.

The first three clubs were promoted directly to the Ekstraklasa , while the fourth-placed team was promoted through the play-offs. The last two were relegated directly, the teams from 13th to 16th played in the relegation against relegation.
