The 2nd league 1991/92 was the 44th season of the second highest Polish football division of men. It started in July 1991 and ended in June 1992.

The 36 teams were divided into two groups of 18 teams each. These played against each other twice in a round trip. The first and second of both groups rose to the first division . The last four teams were relegated to the 3rd division . Górnik Wałbrzych had already retired after the first half of the season and was the first to be relegated.
