Chrobry Głogów is a Polish football club from Głogów (German: Glogau) in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship . The club currently plays in the first division , the second highest Polish division.
history
The history of the Głogowski football club began in 1946 when a football team called the Głogowski Sports Club "Energia" was founded. On January 17, 1957 , the city's three clubs (Gwardia, Sparta and Energia) merged into one team, today's MKS Chrobry Głogów .
In 1979 the club made it to the semi-finals of the Polish Football Cup , in which it failed 4-0 to Legia Warsaw . At that time he played for several years in the first division , but then rose again to the lower leagues. In the 2013/14 season, the club managed to return to the first division.
