Olimpia Elblag (officially Związkowy Klub Sportowy Olimpia Elblag ) is a sports club from the Polish city of Elblag ( dt. Elbing ) in the Warmia and Mazury . The club has played in the 2nd division , the third highest division in Poland , since the 2016/17 season .

history

Olimpia Elbląg was founded in 1945 under the name Syrena Elbląg . The association has been renamed several times in the course of its history, most recently in 2013; since then it is officially called Związkowy KS Olimpia Elbląg .

From the 2009/10 season to 2010/11 the club belonged to the third class 2nd division , then - due to promotion - for the first time the second class 1st division from which he was the last to relegate at the end of the season . After relegation again, he belonged to the fourth-class 3rd division for a season and has been the winner of Group 8 ( Lublin -Masuria ) against Motor Lublin since the 2015/16 season - after the successful relegation as the winner of Group 5 ( Podlachia / Warmia-Masuria ) against Motor Lublin / Subcarpathian ) - again third class.
