Elana Toruń (officially Toruński Klub Piłkarski Elana Toruń ) is a football club from the Polish city of Toruń ( German Thorn ) in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship . It was founded in 1968 and is a pure football club. The club is currently playing in the third division .
history
In the 1990s, the club played four years in the second division . After relegation in 1998/99, the club was re-established the next season under the name Toruński KP. A brief relegation to the fourth division followed. In the 2007/08 season, the club got its old name Elana Toruń back and qualified for the new third division. In 2013, after nine years in third division, they were relegated to the fourth division again. In 2018 they returned to the third division.
The women's football division made it to the semi-finals of the cup in 2002 . In the same year, the team rose to the top division of women, where they played for two seasons. After you failed in the promotion games to the first division in 2005, you did not appear in the following season.
