Znicz Pruszków (officially Miejski Klub Sportowy Znicz Pruszków ) is a Polish football club from Pruszków in the Central Polish Masovian Voivodeship . The club currently plays in the 2nd division . The club plays its home games in the Znicza Pruszków stadium , which provides around 2,500 seats for fans and has both floodlights and underfloor heating.
history
The club was founded in 1923 and stayed in lower-class football until 2005, before being relegated to promotion to the second highest Polish league against 14-time Polish champions Ruch Chorzów 2: 4 and 0: 2 in the 2004/05 season was subject. In 2007, however, this jump succeeded and the club established itself in the first season on rank five. In the 2009/10 season the club rose again and played in the 2nd division for several years. In the 2015/16 season, the club managed to get promoted again in second place, but rose again directly in the next season. The association achieved a great reputation in Poland by promoting young talents such as Robert Lewandowski and Radosław Majewski and thus built up the reputation of a talent factory.
